Apartment in Caldaro

Exclusive living pleasure in white-grey-black shades with refined LASA marble

In the heart of the South Tyrolean wine village of Caldaro sulla Strada del Vino (Kaltern an der Weinstraße), a South Tyrolean entrepreneur has furnished her second home. In 2017, Lasa Marmo supplied large-format wall and floor tiles in LASA VENATO CEVEDALE® and LASA VENATO® marble for various living areas in the spacious apartment. A kitchen splashback clad in LASA !ndividual® stands out in particular.

The architects Horst Freissinger and Edith Elzenbaumer of the planning studio Freissinger Elzenbaumer Architekten situated in Bronzolo (Branzoll) were responsible for the interior design and construction planning of the spacious flat in the centre of Caldaro (Kaltern). Large-area wall and floor tiles of the LASA VENATO CEVEDALE® type can be found in the bathroom and half-bath/powder room of the flat. In the spacious walk-in shower, not only was the shower tray/pan made of LASA marble, but a bench was also covered with marble slabs. In addition, a solid washstand made of LASA marble was placed on top of the antique white traditional cabinets in both bathrooms. In the kitchen, the worktop in LASA VENATO® adds a noble accent to the appearance of the cooking area. The kitchen unit, which is over five metres long, is crowned by the kitchen backsplash. For this, a refined marble slab from the LASA !ndividual® line was impressively placed on the wall surface between the base unit and wall unit. The unique and individual black-grey pattern of the grain and the central, horizontally running black-grey vein on the large-surface slabs, which expresses a uniform course of the veining in mirrored form, is spectacular. In the living room, the built-in fireplace was clad with refined LASA marble slabs. The surfaces of the floors in the bathrooms were brushed, the wall panelling polished.
