2008Lechner Marmor AG acquires 100% of the shares of Lasa Marmo AG
Despite successful tests and coring excavations completed in 2002 at the Jennewand quary, Lechner Marmor AG fails its attempts to resume mining during the following years, mostly because of the requirement to use existing structures for transporting the marble. Shareholders of Lechner Marmor AG meanwhile develop a plan to enter into partnership with Lasa Marmo, or even to buy it in its entirety. This decision is initially discussed during a meeting held on September 15th 2008, during which the equity capital of Lechner Marmor AG is increased. After several attempts and lengthy negotiations Lechner Marmor AG acquires 100% of the shares of Lasa Marmo on November 18th 2008.
