Vincenz Prießnitz, Jesenik
The monumental memorial in honour of the Jeseník "Water Doctor" Vincenz Prießnitz (1799-1851) is located in the Smetana Park in Jeseník in Moravian-Silesia (Czech Republic). All statues were made of Lasa marble by the sculptor Hans Schwathe (1870-1950). The statue of the self-taught natural healer Prießnitz is 2.85 metres high, the group of figures is 10 metres wide and 6 metres deep. A total of 50 cubic metres of natural stone were used. The monument was unveiled on 25th July 1909.
