2014Marble chippings for new floors at Munich Central Station
A new shopping arcade will be opened at Munich Central Station on the mezzanine floor below the station forecourt leading to Munich's S-Bahn (City) and U-Bahn (Underground) trains. The new Aggloterrazzo floors are particularly bright and shiny there. For the production of the cement-bonded floor slabs, frost-resistant LASA marble chippings are used as a component. In Lasa (Laas), the association "Freunde der Schrägbahn" ("Friends of the Inclined Railway") presents its initiative to propose the Lasa (Laas) Marble Railway as a masterpiece of technology for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
