1140Capitals and arched windows
Many arched windows have richly decorated capitals, particularly the triple light window on the southern side of Castel Tirolo’s palace. They represent imaginary beings such as dragons, harp-playing nymphs and decorative motifs such as plants. The eldest ones are highly stylized while the most recent ones become increasingly realistic. The leaves (palmette) climb upwards like a bush.
