1829Bernhard Schweizer
In 1829 Bernhard Schweizer came to the Vinschgau on behalf of the artist Ludwig Schwanthaler, since local suppliers had not been able to honor the Bavarian clients’ demands. He enforced the existing mining rights in order to facilitate the extraction of certain quantities of marble from the Covelano farm and Lasa valley areas to be used in Munich.
