Convinced of the quality and special nature of Lasa marble, which is particularly hard and pressure-resistant due to a double metamorphosis in its formation, you still have to decide on one of our commercial varieties:

With our product line Lasa !ndividual® we guarantee unique marble slabs far from the mainstream. These unique pieces reflect the special history and the particular genesis of the stone. An original Lasa marble which is characterized by the diversity of the colors of the region of the origin of the stone and also qualitatively by its fine-grained crystalline structure as well as its particular hardness and frost resistance.
Pearl white marble
[pearl white]. This withe natural stone, which is exclusively extracted from the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal), is given its name based on its pearl-like crystalline grained pure white structure.
Characteristic for the type Lasa Bianco Perla®: Pure white cold tempered Lasa Marble with a very pronounced crystalline composition, completely free of impurities in terms of color and regarding inclusions.
White with very delicate fine veins
[classical white]. The classic one. White Lasa Marble from the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal) with scattered minor inclusions of chlorite.
Characteristic for the type Lasa Bianco Classico®: Warm tempered white Lasa Marble in terms of color, with barely visible greenish flow marks.
White with delicate blue tones
[ortles white]. Naming of the Lasa Marble commercial grade after the nearby mountain Ortles (in German: Ortler), the highest elevation of South Tyrol (3905 m above sea level).
Characteristic for the type Lasa Bianco Ortles®: Cold tempered Lasa Marble in terms of color, from the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal) with light bluish-gray flow marks due to scattered graphite.
Light grey undertones
[cloud white]. This Lasa Marble commercial grade is named after its light grayish, cloud-like formed shadings, which are distributed over the entire surface of the white natural stone.
Characteristic for the type Lasa Bianco Nuvolato®: The white natural stone from the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal) features equally distributed grayish cloud-like shapes on cool white.
Light grey undertones
[white with heavy clouds]. This Lasa Marble commercial grade is named after its pronounced grayish cloud-like shadings. The surface of the white natural stone contains heavy clouds and textures.
Characteristic for the type Lasa Bianco Nuvolato Forte®: In addition to the equally distributed grayish clouds of the Lasa Bianco Nuvolato does this type of natural stone from the Laas unit (Lasa Marble) also have strong dark inclusions of graphite.
White background with delicate golden veins
[gold vein]. The name of this natural stone extracted in the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal) comes after its golden yellow, orange colored to brownish texture of white Lasa Marble.
Characteristic for the type Lasa Venato Vena D‘Oro®: strip patterned to cloud-like laid golden yellow, orange to brownish veins by inclusions of phlogopite.
White with green veins
[green vein] A naming geared to color of this natural stone extracted in the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal), based on its greenish texture on white Lasa Marble.
Characteristic for the type Lasa Venato Vena Verde®: Lasa Marble with strip patterned to cloud-like greenish laid veining by inclusions of chlorite.
White with apple coloured veins
[apple blossom white] White Lasa Marble from the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal) with veining in the color of apple blossoms. The naming of this commercial grade is inspired by the numerous apple plantations of the entire Adige Valley (Etschtal) and Venosta Valley (Vinschgau).
Characteristic for the type Lasa Venato Fior di Melo®: strip patterned laid golden yellow, orange to brownish veins with light gray and green notes on white Lasa Marble in different colors.
White with delicate blue/grey tones and veining
[cevedale white] The Lasa Marble commercial grade is named after the Monte Cevedale (3769 m a.s.l.), a mountain of the Ortles Group (Ortlergruppe).
Characteristic for the type LASA VENATO CEVEDALE®: Lasa Marble from the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal) with very linear, strip patterned bluish, respectively gray-bluish laid multiple veining by inclusions of tourmaline and graphite.
Fantastic clear blue/grey tones and veining
[arabesque white] White Lasa Marble from the White Water Quarry in the Lasa Valley (Laaser Tal) with pronounced marbled, parallel running blue-gray flow marks and clouds all over the surface is named after the tendril ornament of oriental arts.
Characteristic for the type Lasa Venato Arabescato®: in longish direction running blue-gray stripes and clouds within Lasa Marble with different intensity and tone by inclusions of tourmaline and graphite.

RAW MATERIAL / SPECIAL DESIGN
Constructing with natural stone is not only environmentally friendly but also healthy. As a natural product, the building material does not contain any health hazardous substances. Moreover, natural stone is fireproof and does not require any covering or impregnation. To decide on white marble from Lasa (Laas) means to decide for the most popular natural stone from South Tyrol.
Thanks to its long life-expectancy, the low maintenance costs, and due to its qualities as a precious and aesthetically appealing building material, the white stone from Lasa (Laas) is gladly used for floorings and in stair covers. However, also other ranges of use for Lasa Marble interior fitting become more popular: In the bathroom, solid elements, such as sinks and slabs for washbasins can be found besides the classic marble tiles and natural stone floor plates. Popular in the kitchen are, for instance, kitchen counters and worktops of Lasa Marble, and in the living room, a splendid white marble chimney or fireplace surround makes for the right atmosphere of the homestead.
There is a wide range of applications for Lasa Marble in interiors / indoor environments, and each natural stone tile, each natural stone slab, each window sill, each skirting, each flooring, each staircase and each wall cladding made of Lasa Marble is one of a kind.

It is the fascinating spotless white, or regarding the Venato types the unique and inimitable patterning, that makes Lasa Marble a precious and classy material for interior fittings. But also for what concerns the outdoor area, the white natural stone from South Tyrol decorates countless façades of gorgeous buildings or is used in the design and decoration of terraces, balconies, as swimming pool border, for paving of floors, streets, and pavements.
Besides the high aesthetic values, it is also the extraordinary hardness and weather resistance of the white natural stone, that makes Lasa Marble suitable for outdoor uses. Lasa Marble is resistant to frost, de-icing salt and chlorine. The list of applications for outdoor use is long and ranges from natural stone wall claddings, natural stone floor slabs, marble columns for balustrades, paving tiles, massive marble stairs / treads, building bricks to marble tombstones and urn-graves.

The weather resistant white Lasa Marble has been a popular building material ever since. Through the formation of the 'k.k Fachschule für Steinbearbeitung' (imperial and royal professional school for stone working) in 1870, Laas (Lasa) in the Venosta Valley (Vinschgau) became a center for sculptural arts. The white gold from Laas (Lasa) has become a treasured raw material for many artists of the last Third in the 19th century.
Even if today, the sculptural usage of Lasa Marble has taken a back seat compared to its manufacturing as building material, the Lasa Marmo Ltd. offers raw blocks and raw slabs, irrespective of the intended purpose, may it be a new marble sculpture, a new marble memorial or for other projects. In our in-house sculptor workshop, we manufacture special parts and offer individual and custom-made solutions, as well as 3D parts made-to-order.
