Marmomac 2019 - Lasa Marmo presents new technologies and Lasa (Laas) Sculpture at its new booth
For 54 years, always in the last week of September, the exhibition centre in Verona has opened its doors to natural stone experts and lovers from all over the world. For a total of 4 days, from Wednesday 25th to Saturday 28th September, at Lasa Marmo's stand E7 in Hall 6, interested visitors and marble enthusiasts will find out about the latest technological developments in marble quarrying, processing and laying at Lasa Marble. An innovative stand concept invites you to linger, enjoy a good glass of wine and an informative discussion with our project and product managers as well as the management.
The recently completed marble sculpture by Elias Wallnöfer, a sculptor and stonemason from Lasa (Laas) who made a "marble carabiner" for the Alpenverein Südtirol (AVS), will be an absolute eye-catcher for every visitor. After being on exclusive loan to the Lasa Marmo stand at the Marmomac, it will then travel in October to its destination in Munich to the German Alpine Association and crown its 150th anniversary.
If you are curious about where the material - in this case a LASA VENATO CEVEDALE® - comes from for this exceptional work, you can talk to the product managers and explore the white water quarry using VR (Virtual Reality) glasses. Brand new are also the 360° panorama images, which show the international target group at home on a screen or smartphone, where and how Lasa marble is mined, transported and processed.
To stay on the subject of digitization: An exciting challenge is to familiarize customers with the visualization of vein progressions in projects. The function and possibilities of a so-called Virtual Dry Layout illustrate this. For example, the selected bath can be equipped or combined once with the varieties of the LASA BIANCO® line and once with the varieties of the LASA VENATO® line.
For the first time, Lasa Marmo will also be presenting its new LASA !ndividual® product line at Marmomac, which was launched at the beginning of the year and which, as the name suggests, is individual, like its target group: striking and rich in contrast or soft and warm or even a mix of both.
