We believe that only something like five percent of Laas/Lasa marble was used for artistic works in the past centuries as most of the local stone was crafted into grave stones, crucifixes, staircases, flooring material and very popular table-tops. Our marble enjoys an excellent reputation world-wide and we are, of course, proud that prestigious Laas/Lasa marble sculptures and statues can be found in so many different countries. Laas/Lasa’s local hard, resistant, crystallised stone has also been used for the construction of countless exquisitely elegant and impressive palaces, stately homes and noble residences.
